Celebration Of Holi In Midst Of The Pandemic.

Holi is considered one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India and it is celebrated in almost every part of the country. It is also sometimes called the “festival of love and colors” as on this day people get to unite together forgetting all resentments and all types of bad feelings towards each other. The vibrancy of colors is something that brings in a lot of positivity in our lives and Holi being the festival of colours is actually a day of rejoicing and inter-cultural exchanges. Holi is a famous Hindu festival that is celebrated in every part of India with utmost joy and enthusiasm. But this year India experienced a different type of Holi, due to the covid-19 pandemic as the government has imposed various protocols to control the rise of covid cases. This is a picture captured in Kolkata, India showing a man wearing a protective face mask during Holi celebrations. The enthusiasm for the festival was dimmed amid the covid – 19 pandemic, as there were very less celebrations all over the nation, but still what makes Holi really unique, aside from having a very special significance and style of celebration, and being a Hindu festival is celebrated by people of all religions with the same enthusiasm and unity perfectly symbolizing good over evil, bringing positivity and installing a hope that tells "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise again".
