I am working on a personal project to photograph ancient Native American sites at night. This requires permits, insurance, guides . . . a fare amount of "red tape". I planned several months in advance using Google Earth and Sky Walk to calculate the position of the Milky Way relative to the site. This is Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde National Park, CO.
