Center Church, Provincetown, MA

Built in 1860 at a cost of $22,000, with a 162’ steeple, this was the largest Methodist church in the US. It seated 900 people in 128 pews. Damaged by the Portland Gale, the steeple was taken down, and wasn’t replaced until 2007 with a 100’ spire.
