The Sonian Forest lies at the south-eastern edge of Brussels, Belgium and is part of the ancient "Silva Carbonaria" or "Charcoal Forest". It is my place of choice for escaping the grey feelings of the city, and only in the sight of such mighty, centuries-old nature I feel relief.
