This vehicle is used as the Chase Car in retrieving smash pumpkins at the annual Pumpkin Chunking' Contest in Estancia, New Mexico. Once the members of the catapult team load and send their pumpkins into the fields, these Chase Cars are sent off to both measure the distance of the pumpkin's "slight" and also to retrieve the smashed pumpkin from the field.
