One day I went to the dry lake bed in Jean, Mojave Desert NV. The ground looked cracked, like the canvas of an old painting. The location had been photographed many times before, but nobody ever made an image looking straight down. I decided to look for a model and go back to the location to make a shot with my drone, looking at the desert as a canvas where I put my model in the middle. The model is small in the enormous desert landscape.
