I took an Uber down to DC, specifically the Tidal Basin during peak bloom, to photograph the blossoms, one of my very favorite activities. I was a little nervous being down there by myself when it was still this dark out (6:20am) but once we pulled up the driver dropped off, I quickly realized I was not the only one who had the same idea. I was surrounded by people doing the same thing I was! I have dozens upon dozens of the blossoms in daylight from all different angles, but none in pre-dawn light, so I snapped this shot using my iPhone.
