I took a bus all the way from LA to San Diego, because visiting the Salk Institute for Biological Studies has been a dream since I studied architecture a decade ago. Years passed by, and here I am. Instead of feeling extremely excited as I had realized my dream after so many years, I felt peaceful as if having an "intellectual retreat."
