Aerial View of Chimborazo Volcano at Sunrise

At 20,703ft, Chimborazo volcano in Ecuador is the farthest point from Earth’s center, surpassing Mount Everest which has the highest elevation above sea level. It is sad to see the receding snow in the photo (all the uncovered rock), reminding us of the importance to take care of Earth. But it’s lovely to appreciate Ecuador from a point of view not many can. I am fortunate to have my father be a very experienced pilot who loves Ecuador as much as I do and wishes to explore it with me even more! I was amazed to find those two lakes in the photo - as neither my dad nor I new they existed.
