Chimp Family

Money from Chimp tourism helps sustain the national parks and preserve habitat for all species that live there. These are descendants of the chimps Jane Goodall began studying in the '60s. Tourist housing in the park is simple - we stayed in sturdy tents - and avoids excess in order to minimize impact on the environment. This immediate family of chimps rested on a game/tourist trail to groom. We were there with a few other tourists and two guides. We came across the family in clear view so I was able to get several shots.
