I was really lucky to visit Singapore last year, exactly during the Chinese New Year festival. The entire city was so decked up beautifully for the festival and every evening there was a mesmerizing display of pyrotechnics at the Marina Bay. People gathered in huge numbers to watch cultural performances and of course the fireworks. Here even the Merlion, the iconic symbol of Singapore, seems to be completely mesmerized by the pyrotechnics.
