Chinook salmon peaking
Chinook salmon, although not native to the Laurentian Great Lakes, now have many naturally reproducing, wild populations. Each fall, they enter the tributaries and swim upstream to spawn. In some places, they still have to pass old human infrastructure, which can create some unique photo opportunities.
