While I am of the luck and privilege to say that this is only makeup, it is reality for too many. Still, not all that have been hurt have visible scars. We all love the many beautiful pride looks we luckily see often, but don't let them overshine the ugly truth that LGBTQ people still are being devalued for being true to themselves, ourselves.
