On May 25, 2020, a white police officer in Minnesota, the United States, turned a deaf eye to the cries for mercy of an African-American man, George Floyd, during a violent law enforcement process, leading to Floyd's death. The tragedy sparked massive protests that continued in many parts of the country. The series of photos was taken on June 6, 2020, in Los Angeles, the United States, and shows people taking to the streets to protest.
