Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. These are the five Chinese elements which the Chinese believed that these are the fundamental elements of everything in the universe. The elements which everyone knows are the four famous ones: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. I have decided to use these five elements as themes on my still life photography and incorporate it with a modern and contemporary twist. I have used items that can be found from the Chinese culture as my objects to create a minimalistic and yet fun, aesthetic.
