22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
Chrome & Glass
There isn’t much more American than cars. I grew up with my dad and brother always working on cars and my first car was a Triumph TR7, so I’ve always been a bit of a motorhead. When the car show came to Leland, North Carolina I had to capture all the chrome and glass I could. With a beautiful sunny day at hand, it was fun to showcase the classic and antique vehicles from different angles with the sun and light reflecting off the abundance of chrome and glass. This shot of a 1936 Ford Deluxe Coupe was one of my favorites!
