15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Ciao Bella
On a small island just off the coast of Venice. My family was travelling through Europe (my first trip to the Northern Hemisphere) and I was enraptured with the beauty of this submerged city. This was an alleyway between houses as we walked to the public ferry. I suspect it was a private dock for locals.
