Clash

Icelandic braided Glacial rivers meet. They flow through volcanic and glacial landscape, picking up minerals and sediments that color the water. The braids form from sediment accumulation and different depths. It all combines for spectacular looking water flow. The waters clash and don't seem to mix right away, causing a contrast of colors and textures. Photo taken from a small Cessna plane.
