It was a late afternoon in the Mara during what is called the Green Season. A more elegant way to describe the low season when the Mara is empty. We had been monitoring a single buffalo for sometime as two young male lions were slowly making their way toward him. I knew that the chances of a successful hunt were very low but I was hoping for some interesting action.
