Clear-room (Hungarian Folkish Word)

The clear-room was an exceptional and strange place of country houses in Hungary. These rooms were kept in the highest order, used only for decoration and to receive honoured guests. Decorated with unique objects, and beautiful furnitures. Here was the bedding of the girl who will be married, festive clothes, festive tablewares, documents, valuables. This room was a peaceful point for the people living there, but for outsiders it was a place full of mysteries, where you could just look in sometimes but never enter. It was always perfectly clean and unheated, cold. This is not a traditional clear-room. This is my clear-room, with my own discipline, reticence, eccentricity, treasures, mysteries, where only a few of my exceptional and special guests are let in. This room is me.
