Close-up of a Lobster

I became fascinated with the distinctive texture, on the shell of this lobster. When viewed in detail, the lumps, bumps, and 'imperfections' take on a raw beauty, almost lunar in quality. On the human body, we have become accustomed to striving for smoothness, and fetishised the removal of all imperfection, so the glorious chaos of nature at a micro scale became the focus of this image.
