Close up of Anemone Tentacles
Those brave enough to dive into the frigid waters of the Pacific Northwest are rewarded with colorful reefs that rival their tropical cousins. When diving in the hood canal, there is always a big decision to make - macro or wide angle. After completing the first dive with a wide angle lens, I switched over to my macro set up. I was glad I did. On the second dive I was greeted with a host of macro life, including this brightly colored anemone. Using a +10 diopter and a snoot, I captured this close up of the anemone's tentacles.
