Closed curtain

Worldwide, the 35 % of women are being abused during their lifetime. Mostly they are perpetrated at home by the husband, a partner or a relative. A lot of women don't report the abuses because they feel ashamed or underestimate them in order to save the relationship. The photography wants to represent my personal vision of this psychological condition. That feeling of endless suffering, the sensation of living in a strange limbo where everything flows slowly. It's like to be continuously disconnected from reality, nothing is clear and it seems there is nobody to trust, when you are desperately searching for help, looking the world behind a closed curtain.
