CLOUD FOREST

Valparai, Anamalias, Tamil Nadu. The Anaimalai Hills, also known as the Elephant Mountains, are the range of mountains that form the southern portion of the Western Ghats and span the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala in Southern India. These parts are famous for the tea and coffee plantations as well as for their abundant wildlife, including several endemic and endangered species such as the Nilgiri tahr, Nilgiri Langur and Lion Tailed macaque as well as frogs such as Jayaram's Bush Frog. For bird lovers, it is a good place to look out for Great Indian Hornbill.
