When I arrived at Pastoruri Glacier, Peru, the sun was shining. Then, like usually at this 5,000 m height, the weather changed and hail started falling. The vendor and her son were ensconced in an stone enclosure to fend off the wind but this was not enough. One can feel the cold and see the hail falling (due to a longer exposure time).
