Collard lizard pair in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge
I captured these Collard lizards sunning themselves during an annual family Mother's Day hike along the Bison Trail in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge near Lawton, Oklahoma. We saw quite a few big blue male Collards this day, but seeing a male and female together touching tales was a first.
