I was on vacation in Chicago when I took this photo. Being in a public playground area, surrounded by the hustle and bustle, I was taken aback to see an innocent, shy animal in a place so modernized. For me, the collision between nature and city life made for a perfect contrast. It gave me hope that despite our destructive ways against nature, nature would find its way to adapt and prosper.
