Colorado Hail Storm
A severe storm drops hail and heavy rain onto a field east of Aurora, Colorado, on May 21, 2014. The flowering plants in the foreground are bent towards the storm by inflow wind rushing towards the supercell's updraft. The blue-green glow comes from large hail suspended in the storm; the hail caused significant damage in Aurora and at Denver International Airport.
