Colouring Lotus Threads
Instead of colouring books, this Myanmar boy was helping his family colouring lotus threads at a Lotus weaving shop. Lotus flowers are used by locals to produce strong fibers which are coloured with natural dyes made from the bark of a tree, flower petals, leaves and fruit. These fibres are weaved into beautiful fabric used in scarves and monk robes.
