come rain or come shine...
AS A STORM ROLLED IN OVER INLE LAKE, THIS LAST INTREPID FISHERMAN PLIED THE LAKE'S WATERS TRYING TO CATCH THAT LAST BATCH OF FISH TO FEED HIS FAMILY (THE AVERAGE DAILY INCOME FOR A FISHERMAN CAN BE AROUND $4/DAY). INTERESTINGLY INLE FISHERMEN ROW THEIR OARS USING THEIR LEG ALLOWING THEM UNFETTERED USE OF THEIR HANDS TO HAUL IN THEIR NETS. BUT THIS IS A DYING OCCUPATION IN INLE LAKE, DUE TO TOURISM EXPANSION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION.
