Coming in for a Landing
I was walking along the shoreline when I saw a flash of white in the distance. It was an egret, its snow-white plumage gleaming in the sunlight. The egret was flying towards me, its long, slender legs trailing behind it. It was flying low, just above the surface of the water. I knew this was a rare opportunity to capture a photo of an egret coming in for a landing. I quickly raised my camera and focused on the egret. I held my breath as it came closer and closer. Just as it was about to land, I snapped the photo.
