Common Milkweed in a mountain meadow
We stumbled across a picturesque mountain meadow hiking in the High Tor Wildlife Management Area near Naples, NY. As we emerged from the forest into the meadow I saw two things, a determined monarch fluttering about and this common milkweed as its last stop before continuing its journey.
