Common Snapping Turtle
Due to its natural camouflage, I nearly stepped on this juvenile Common Snapping Turtle while I was walking along the Buckeye Trail. I was very excited that I spotted him – not just because I avoided stepping on the little guy, but because I really enjoy photographing small creatures that tend to stay still for the shot.
