Compressed Trash City_01

In 2017, I documented New York City's waste crisis, revealing the environmental and psychological impact of excessive garbage. Through compressed cardboard boxes, I symbolized the pressures of modern society, exacerbated by factors like the pandemic and economic turmoil. While my art doesn't depict people, each box represents human existence, tied to our lives. "The Compressed City" urges awareness of urban issues and mental well-being, prompting responsible resource use. It seeks empathy and encourages healthier living in the face of stress. My work serves as a visual and emotional journey, fostering a sustainable and compassionate future.
