Concrete 004

My story as a photographer is one who seeks beauty and meaning in what other people don't notice or step around or upon. "Concrete 004" is a perfect example of it. I first saw this picture outside my gym in Los Angeles near the loading area for a bunch of department stores. It's simply an oil spill/stain that a large truck made. I however saw art, went home, grabbed my camera, returned and took a picture of it. Feel like it expresses something exotic and rare in my usual mundane and boring city world.
