While on my journey to capture unexpected images in San Antonio I pulled into a parking area near a downtown USO club. I looked up and the clouds had cleared and a ray of light was coming down, cascading over the circular and meandering smooth ramps of a parking structure. I climbed over a few barricades and positioned myself in the center of the ramp, laid down, and pointed myself and the camera at the oculus like opening at the top. What ensued was this photograph that encapsulates the symmetry and small glimpse of nature allowed in to this industrial and overlooked structure.
