I saw my husband standing there, looking out over the lake, looking so sad and contemplative, it made me sad for him. But at least for that one weekend, we were able to be a normal couple as much as his health would permit. My husband had been on dialysis for 6 months when we went on this camping trip. It was a much needed mental health trip and weekend for my husband.
