This image was captured in Montepulciano Italy. This person was sitting for extended time, contemplating - who knows what - while others walked and talked. I looked up and there was this image. I shot the scene in portrait. I found it more concise to the moment. the range sent the stage to what I saw. The sun was hot and the light of the sun illuminated this being - all along this creature was light and underneath was light...I had to shoot at that moment.
