Coral spawning

A branching Acropora coral spawns pinkish bundles of eggs and sperm. This phenomenon of coral spawning happens once a year on a specific month and hour at night. This photo is part of an ongoing project documenting reproductive phenomena of corals and other coral-reef associated animals.
