After centuries of occupation by the Ottoman Empire, Greece was reunited with its only island that did not come under Ottoman rule - Corfu. The reunification day in 1864 has been celebrated on the island ever since and actively involves many of the residents. This was a quick capture of a resident band as they prepared for the parade in downtown Corfu town.
