I took this candid shot just passing by the Main Mall in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. It was my second time in this area and the view of women with these huge snow white rabbits just fascinated me. But the only ones I always saw were the old ladies wanting some rupees for a photo which would kill the reportage spirit, so I kept on looking. Luckily, this couple finally got captured in my frame. It's big thing here - rabbits, almost every women has them as a pet, they comb them, make wool, knit som garments fot winter. Traditional shawls from Kullu valley (the name of this area) are one of the most wanted indian souvenirs (and a pretty beautiful piece of clothes, - adds my girlish part).
