I visited Edinburgh, Scotland and discovered this “lesser known” 14th Century castle, on the outskirts of the city. I enjoyed viewing the architectural features of this Medieval structure; and I felt one of the more striking features was that of the courtyard door that had a tree growing just beyond the doorway, and was part of the castle itself.
