I was visiting Palm Beach and was impacted by the intensity of the light there. Inside of the small courtyard at the Norton Museum of Art, in the middle of the day, the harsh Florida sunlight combined with shadows to accentuate the lines of the sculpture there and to make patterns of the textured palm trees.
