COVID candles
While in Paris, I visited St. Sulpice. In one of the alcoves, I found a tribute to those who lost their lives to COVID. Candles were lit, messages on small shards of paper were put in a basket, and panels showed the faces of those who are no longer with us. A woman, wearing a mask, said a silent prayer. It captured all the pain of this pandemic.
