We knew there was a level of risk traveling while COVID was still an issue but took all the precautions to protect us we could, which included an extensive protocol of vaccination and testing intended to create a bubble. So, we received the news that it was on board with concern. The concern grew as the number of cases did, eventually reaching 10% of the 110 passengers. After traveling to the end of the world, each of the passengers who were infected were sequestered in their cabins, with a table outside the door for their meals, which also became a symbol of their isolation and disappointment, as well as the proximity of the disease to the rest of us.
