I took this photograph to help bring awareness on the importance of wearing a mask. Using ShortNose my Trickster I painted myself with UV paint and used a black light and took this portrait of myself in my living room. Covid Ripped through our Native communities and took alot of our people from us. Its not over and we must remain vigilant and educate ourselves to help protect each other. The pipestem is actual pipestem earned through the traditional Southern Cheyenne sundance. We earn our pipe through our traditional ceremonies.
