Carver Abbott: A 6th generation Sandhills rancher, father, cowboy, carpenter... and as it turns out, incredibly patient as proven by this evening with NEOWISE and his horse Dallas. ⁣ ⁣ As I stood under the stars with the Abbott family at my side - from grandparents to grandchildren - I couldn’t help but appreciate how a curiosity and fascination of the night sky had brought us all together on this hillside. Both the brilliant blanket of stars, and a mutual respect for the natural world through ranching, have largely remained unchanged in this corner of the planet for over a century.
