Cowgirl Alice helps out at the rodeo
Alice and her family live on the Brazilian pampa, near the border with Uruguay. Her father works with horses, and among other things, owns a string of 'bucking broncos' that he rents out on the local rodeo circuit. Alice and her sister Luise help with the team, as general assistants, and compete in kinder sports, such as reining and barrel racing. Here you see her out on the field, where she was lending a hand. It had rained quite a bit, so at that moment, there weren't many people milling about, and I caught her alone.
