Cowgirl Boots
Wandering around the barn at “Murphy Creek” with my friend MKS in the Sierra Nevada foothills south of Sacramento, I noticed two sets of riding boots sitting on a metal chair. These were not ordinary brown riding boots, but had wonderful colors to give them a special look. Socks were tucked in the boots, left over from a previous trail ride. What is more typical of horse country and rural California than riding boots?
