Croc of Fate in the Serengeti
A crocodile's jaws are set to clamp onto a wildebeest during the perilous Mara River crossing in Tanzania’s northern Serengeti, a stark reminder of the life-and-death battles that unfold during the Great Migration. Each year, millions of wildebeest risk it all to cross the river, but for some, the journey ends in the crushing jaws of Africa’s top river predator.
